Growing up in India in the nineties and early noughties, back when Honda brought variable valve timing on the Honda City VTEC, it was something that decidedly felt high tech to me. After reading up about the technology on the various automotive magazines and the interweb, I began to have a high regard for Honda as a company that pioneered new technologies.
